En perfekt kombination enlig mig, d\u00e5 jag i lugn och ro kan kolla p\u00e5 vasaloppet utan att bli st\u00f6rd, samtidigt som jag kan tr\u00e4na s\u00e5 h\u00e5rt jag har lust med i ca 4 timmar. De tv\u00e5 senaste \u00e5ren har vi arrangerat det p\u00e5 egen hand. I \u00e5r blev det lite sent med planeringen, s\u00e5 jag hann inte dra ihop n\u00e5gra kompisar. Ist\u00e4llet best\u00e4mde jag och Lotta att k\u00f6ra hemma och vi riggade upp cyklar p\u00e5 trainers och kopplade upp en gammal TV ute i g\u00e4strummet bakom garaget. Det blev ett perfekt lopp som var sp\u00e4nnande att kolla p\u00e5 och tiden gick som vanligt v\u00e4ldigt fort. Efter lite enegip\u00e5fyllning och slappande i soffan till femmilen (mycket skidor den h\u00e4r dagen) var det dax f\u00f6r n\u00e4sta aktivitet.<\/p>\n<p>Vi packade handukar och torra underkl\u00e4der i varsin rygga, satte p\u00e5 oss l\u00f6parkl\u00e4der, startade bastun och drog i v\u00e4g. Dagen f\u00f6re, p\u00e5 l\u00f6rdagen, hade vi varit ner till Sten\u00f6 och kapat upp v\u00e5r isvak med motors\u00e5g. Eftersom det varit minusgrader sen dess beh\u00f6vde vi \u00e4ven ta med en yxa som jag pulade ner i ryggan tillsammans med en slev att \u00f6sa ur isen ur vaken med.<\/p>\n<p>Vi sprang i solen p\u00e5 isen ner till bryggorna p\u00e5 Sten\u00f6, h\u00f6gg upp vaken, bytte om till badkl\u00e4der och doppade oss. Efter det f\u00f6rsta stressp\u00e5slaget kom det h\u00e4rliga ruset med swimmers high &#8211; en grymt sk\u00f6n k\u00e4nsla, med en skjuts av endorfiner och b\u00e4ttre reglering av dopaminer och noradrenalin. Som vanligt efter\u00e5t k\u00e4nde vi oss pigga, glada energiska och faktiskt avstressade. N\u00e4r vi kl\u00e4tt oss igen sprang vi hem och hoppade in i bastun, inte f\u00f6r att vi fr\u00f6s eller s\u00e5 utan snarare att det k\u00e4nns som ett sk\u00f6nt komplement, som stressar av kroppen \u00e4nnu mer.<\/p>\n<p>Vi b\u00f6rjade med vinterbad f\u00f6rra vintern och har l\u00e4rt oss att m\u00f6ssa och ullstrumpor eller neoprensockar \u00e4r bra att ha p\u00e5 sig under badet. Det \u00e4r perfekt med en l\u00f6ptur f\u00f6re och efter, som g\u00f6r att det \u00e4r l\u00e4ttare hantera kylan och mindre motigt att kliva i vattnet.
