Nu vill jag verkligen klara 100 miles och hj\u00e4rnan zoomar i h\u00f6g grad in p\u00e5 det. Samtidigt \u00e4r jag ju s\u00e5 mycket mer \u00e4n ultral\u00f6pare: make, f\u00f6r\u00e4lder, v\u00e4n, f\u00f6retagare, kollega, t\u00e4vlingsarrang\u00f6r, multisportare, hemmasnickare, och med femtielva olika intressen som musik, litteratur, film, entusiastbilar, kost, h\u00e4lsa och allt vad det nu \u00e4r. Dels finns det f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntningar p\u00e5 mig fr\u00e5n olika h\u00e5ll, dels vill jag sj\u00e4lv v\u00e4ldigt mycket hela tiden (f\u00f6r mycket?). N\u00e4r jag var yngre trodde jag att folk var klar med det mesta n\u00e4r de var \u00f6ver 50 \u00e5r. Jag vet inte om det var mer s\u00e5 f\u00f6rr, eller om det bara \u00e4r en illusion, att det ser s\u00e5 annorlunda ut fr\u00e5n perspektivet av att vara 20-25 \u00e5r. Jag kan i alla fall konstatera att lusten att uppleva och ta mig an nya utmaningar fortfarande \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt stark. Det finns n\u00e5gra saker jag tror \u00e4r viktiga, f\u00f6r att \u00f6ver huvud taget ha m\u00f6jlighet att genomf\u00f6ra n\u00e5got som jag upplever som en stor utmaning, samtidigt som vardagslivet rullar p\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p>Om jag nu vet att jag fortfarande vill typ hundra olika grej\ber, tror jag att det \u00e4r viktigt att kunna skruva ner prestationskraven p\u00e5 andra omr\u00e5den under en period och att acceptera att en del omr\u00e5den f\u00e5r mindre tid \u2013 jag snickrar vidare p\u00e5 rummet vi bygger om, och det f\u00e5r ta l\u00e4ngre tid; jag forts\u00e4tter laga h\u00e4lsosam vegetarisk mat, och det f\u00e5r vara okej att inte leta nya recept; jag \u00e5ker lite skidor n\u00e5gon g\u00e5ng ibland, och det f\u00e5r vara okej att jag missar en massa tillf\u00e4llen med kanonf\u00f6re i skidsp\u00e5ren; jag bokar in lite f\u00e4rre uppdrag, och det f\u00e5r bli lite mindre utr\u00e4ttat p\u00e5 mitt f\u00f6retag. Jag tr\u00e4ffar i mitt arbete ofta i personer som drivit sig sj\u00e4lv till utmattning och gemensamt \u00e4r att de har h\u00f6ga krav p\u00e5 sig sj\u00e4lv p\u00e5 f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga omr\u00e5den i livet. Behandlingen handlar ofta om att n\u00f6ja sig med l\u00e4gre prestationer p\u00e5 vissa omr\u00e5den. S\u00e4nkta krav \u00f6kar ocks\u00e5 m\u00f6jligheten att g\u00f6ra fler saker. Till exempel blir det m\u00f6jligt att tr\u00e4na 20 minuter och tycka att det har ett v\u00e4rde, ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att t\u00e4nka att det \u00e4r f\u00f6r lite och d\u00e5 strunta i tr\u00e4ningen helt om en inte orkar eller har tid att tr\u00e4na minst en timme.<\/p>\n<p>En annan sak jag tagit med mig \u00e4r att kommunicera med mina n\u00e4rst\u00e5ende, s\u00e5 de f\u00e5r m\u00f6jlighet f\u00f6rst\u00e5 hur viktigt det jag vill g\u00f6ra \u00e4r f\u00f6r mig och att jag k\u00e4nner st\u00f6d och acceptans f\u00f6r mina val. Nu har jag turen att ha en enormt st\u00f6ttande fru som bl. a. klarar av att vi har kaos p\u00e5 \u00f6verv\u00e5ningen och accepterar att det f\u00e5r ta tid med den p\u00e5g\u00e5ende ombyggnationen: TACK LOTTA F\u00d6R DIN TOLERANS (vi b\u00f6rjade faktiskt riva p\u00e5 \u00f6verv\u00e5ningen innan jag kom p\u00e5 id\u00e9n att jag skulle anm\u00e4la mig till TEC 100 i april).<\/p>\n<p>Grundl\u00e4ggande \u00e4r ha en hyfsat tydlig plan f\u00f6r hur jag ska l\u00e4gga upp tr\u00e4ningen. Jag beh\u00f6ver veta vad jag ska g\u00f6ra vecka f\u00f6r vecka och sedan varje vecka kunna bryta ner det i dagliga aktiviteter. Planen beh\u00f6ver vara flexibel s\u00e5 den g\u00e5r att anpassa till livet. Jag tycker det g\u00e5r bra att ha en lista med olika tr\u00e4ningspass att plocka fr\u00e5n och ha en \u00f6vergripande bild av vad jag vill f\u00e5 in varje vecka. Ibland, om jag har extra mycket att g\u00f6ra, kan jag dela upp det i mycket mindre delar, d\u00e4r varje stund blir v\u00e4rdefull och jag i slutet av veckan har f\u00e5tt ihop ungef\u00e4r det jag planerat.<\/p>\n<p>Den f\u00f6rsta m\u00e5naden har jag lyckats f\u00f6lja min plan ganska bra, trots att det \u00e4r mitt i vintern och jag aldrig tidigare sprungit s\u00e5 h\u00e4r mycket i januari. Jag har lagt till styrketr\u00e4ning tv\u00e5 g\u00e5nger per vecka till min tr\u00e4ning och eftersom det var l\u00e4nge sedan jag k\u00f6rde ren styrketr\u00e4ning har jag haft n\u00e4stan konstant tr\u00e4ningsv\u00e4rk de senaste tre veckorna. Varje kv\u00e4ll g\u00f6r jag lite r\u00f6rlighets\u00f6vningar framf\u00f6r TV:n f\u00f6r att inte bli s\u00e5 stel av all tr\u00e4ning. Jag blandar olika l\u00f6ppass fr\u00e5n min tr\u00e4ningsplan, \u00f6kar gradvis volymen och l\u00f6pningen funkar fortfarande. Jag \u00e4r sn\u00e4ll mot mig sj\u00e4lv och springer mindre de dagar jag inte k\u00e4nner lust, och motivationen k\u00e4nns fortfarande f\u00f6r det mesta v\u00e4ldigt h\u00f6g. Jag f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker att ha disciplin att l\u00e4gga mig lite tidigare och det funkar oftast.
